The Charmer (1911) is an oil painting by the English Pre-Raphaelite painter John William Waterhouse. Waterhouse paints a young woman charming the fish in the water below her with music from her lyre. In Greek mythology, the lyre is associated with Apollo, son of the god Zeus.
