P. Serrallonga, also known as Joan Sala i Ferrer, was a Catalan bandit born in Viladrau, Spain in 1594. He was known for his criminal activities in the sierra de las Guillerías and his ability to evade capture by the authorities. He was eventually captured and executed in Barcelona in 1634. His life and legend have been romanticized in literature and popular culture, and he is considered a mythical figure in Catalan history.
