Shin Yun-bok, also known as Sin Yun-bok, was a Korean painter of the Joseon period. He was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1758 and died in 1813. He is known for his realistic depictions of daily life in his time and his genre paintings, which are distinctly more erotic than those of his contemporaries. He was expelled from the royal painting institute, Dohwaseo, for his erotic paintings. He is remembered as one of the 'Three Wons' of Joseon-period painting, along with Danwon and Owon. His album, Hyewon Pungsokhwacheop, contains 30 of his paintings and was designated the 135th National Treasure of South Korea in 1970.
