Todd Norsten

Todd Norsten is an American painter born in 1967 in Minneapolis, United States. He is known for his minimalist and conceptual approach to painting, often employing a variety of techniques from tribute to Minimal Art to trompe l’oeil. Norsten's work often depicts signs and symbols, reflecting his faith in the act of painting. He has exhibited in numerous galleries and museums, including the British Museum in London, the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, and the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. Norsten's work is also part of the Google Arts & Culture platform. He is currently represented by the Adams and Ollman gallery in Portland, Oregon, and the Federica Schiavo Gallery in Rome, Italy.
