Rudolf Krivoš

Rudolf Krivoš is a Slovak Postwar & Contemporary painter born in 1933 in Bratislava, Slovakia. He is known for his figurative compositions depicting human life and human nature in its various forms. Krivoš's paintings are considered to be among the pillars of Slovak modern art. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava from 1951 to 1956 and was a member of the Mikuláš Galanda Group. His work has been exhibited at Kunsthalle Wien, Museumsquartier in Vienna, Austria. Krivoš's work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging from 314 USD to 38,951 USD. The record price for this artist at auction is 38,951 USD for 'Situácia XI. (My Lai)' sold at Soga in 2019.
