John Hamilton Moore (1738 - 1807) was a Scottish teacher of navigation, chartseller, and hydrographer active in London during the latter part of the 18th century. He is best known for his work as a teacher of navigation and for his publication of the New Practical Navigator. Moore was also a member of the Royal Society and was elected a Fellow of the Society in 1786.
